Works completed on site week 01-07/03:
- 11 concrete units have been cast during the week – a higher number than what had been anticipated. To date, 31 units have been cast. In total, there are 37 concrete units to be cast on site to form the new bridge. The large units weigh up to 64t.
- Progress made on the steel & formwork (moulds) for the remaining units. All units are planned to be cast by the end of March.
Works planned on site (8/03 – 14/03):
- Plan to cast 4 more concrete units and to continue work on the steel and formwork (moulds) for the remaining units.
