The Network Rail tamping train (an engineering train which packs the track stone tightly together, making a smoother journey for train passengers) will be working on the new Ocean rail bridge from 11:20 pm on Saturday 8 January until 8:10 am on Sunday 9 January.
Tamping is a noisy activity for those who live nearby and we’re sorry for any disturbance this may cause.
