); the Stroudwater Textile Trust is dedicated to sharing this with the community and promoting a lively culture, which combines the old and the new.
Join us in celebrating over 200 years of Astounding Inventions in Stroud 
This event is part of Heritage Open Days – A nation wide celebration of history and culture.
The weekend will involve showcasing some of the inventions from the Stroud district, as well as giving people the opportunity to visit the rarely open, historic St Mary’s Mill in Chalford.
The event is set over three locations on the 10th and 11th of September

The Salt House, Brimscombe Port GL5 2QG – Say hello to our partners, Stroudwater Navigation Archive Charity who will be displaying some of their fascinating archives. Community artists, Miniature Museum will also be joining with a projection of their archives.
Stroud Brewery GL5 2BY – Come along to see an original Budding lawn mower, loaned by Stroud District Council’s Museum in the Park.
