Network Rail is replacing the Ocean rail bridge in Stonehouse on behalf of Cotswold Canals Connected as part of the project to connect the canal to the national waterways network.
The new bridge will be installed round the clock between 24 Dec-1 Jan.
The towpath will be closed until end March 2022.
